One of the first bands I ever played in was my friend Derek Barber’s group Perhapsy, which I sang and played keys in when I was at U of M. This is the last track off their most recent LP and it remains one of the saddest, most delicately beautiful songs I’ve ever heard. I sing harmonies on it towards the end. They’re based in Berkeley now - so all you Californians, make sure to check out a show of theirs or listen to more of their stuff on SoundCloud.
